Clinical Supervision and Coaching

Good clinical supervision is the cornerstone of safe and effective psychotherapy. Supervision should be more than just reviewing your work and planning next steps. It should be a space to reflect on your own thoughts, feelings and behaviours, explore and integrate new ideas, develop your skills and experiment with new techniques.

I'm a BABCP accredited CBT Supervisor and I provide clinical supervision for a growing number of experienced therapists, including those wishing to pursue and maintain BABCP accreditation. I've also spent many years supporting trainee and novice CBT therapists to develop and maintain their knowledge and skills. If you're looking for a supervisor who can support you through your CBT training and beyond, contact me to find out more.

‘’Throughout both my training and clinical practice, Alex has been incredibly supportive providing advice and guidance. Most importantly, I have been given a safe space to reflect, explore challenges and barriers, and grow professionally. ’

Fern - IAPT High Intensity CBT Therapist

My background and experience working across a broad range of clinical settings (NHS, CAMHS, Voluntary Sector, Higher Education) enables me to confidently support professionals working in a wide range of roles and service contexts.

As well as CBT therapists, I've supported Counsellors, trainee Clinical Psychologists, Junior Doctors, PWPs and EMHPs to develop their CBT skills through teaching, focused supervision and coaching. If you're a professional seeking to train, specialise or develop your career in CBT, contact me to find out how I can support you.

"Alex was an incredibly supportive supervisor, he made me comfortable enough to bring video clips of difficult sessions to supervision and I learnt from his suggestions and input"
