Compassion Focused CBT Therapist and BABCP accredited Clinical Supervisor

 

I specialise in supporting people to overcome Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) using the latest evidence-based interventions, including CBT, ERP, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and ACT.

As well as OCD, I support clients with a wide range of related conditions, including anxiety, shame and self-criticism, social anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD.

In addition to therapy, I support other therapists to develop their practice through teaching, workshops and clinical supervision.

I have more than 15 years' clinical experience supporting others to understand OCD and other common anxiety and mood disorders. I'm passionate about OCD therapy and dedicated to working collaboratively with clients to understand their needs and move forward with greater acceptance, flexibility and optimism.  

  


Clinical Supervision

I'm a BABCP accredited Clinical Supervisor with extensive experience in a wide range of settings. I work with a diverse cohort of trainees and experienced practitioners, supporting them to develop their knowledge and skills though focused clinical supervision and consultation.

I work from a place of acceptance, helping you to approach difficult thoughts and feelings with non-judgemental openness and curiosity. I view acceptance as a key step in the journey towards growth and recovery.

I value being real and open in the therapy room - not distant or clinical. A genuine, human relationship helps create the safeness needed for honest conversations, healthy vulnerability and meaningful change.

I use therapeutic approaches that are backed by research and shown to be effective. I combine and adapt these approaches to fit you as an individual, so your therapy feels clear, structured and grounded in the latest evidence.
